As one of Sweden’s internationally best-known artists, Andersson is represented in a number of the world’s leading museums as well as in a current exhibition, Humdrum Days, at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark. She now launches her first interior design collection, for iconic Svenskt Tenn, comprising of a throw blanket, a tea cosy, a series of trays, and a tea set.
— The tea set and the throw blanket were my entry into the collaboration, she tells. What was originally intended as a small project grew and became an extensive exhibition, where I have an entire installation with my own work that I’ve composed with fabrics and furniture from Svenskt Tenn as well as carpets and other items from elsewhere.
— This is a unique and prestigious collaboration and shows yet a further dimension of Svenskt Tenn. Both the collection and the exhibition are characterised by her artistry and feeling for colour and spatiality, says Thommy Bindefeld, marketing manager and creative director.

The exhibition, Andersson describes as primarily a game and a way to poke fun at herself.
— It’s about my desire and longing for the aesthetics of the bourgeoisie. I feel a little out of my element, but I still love it, she concludes.
