How (di)vision just took its viral Copenhagen catwalk show one step further
According to co-founder and creative director Simon Wick, this week’s capsule forces the viewer to think in new ways and find beauty in something that previously was seen as broken or trashed.

The up and coming Copenhagen brand embraces a philosophy to make the most out of our living days — or die regretting. This approach became extra clear at the recent Copenhagen Fashion Week, showing the AW23 collection named Dressed for Disaster, which showcased a gala party that looked like it was already over. The show went viral with millions of views on social media when supermodel Sarah Dahl left a mess as her skirt was disguised as a tablecloth and dragged all of the glasses and plates onto the floor.

(di)vision has now teamed up with digital insurance company Hedvig for the launch of TABLEWEAR. The five-piece capsule is inspired by the early ’00s youth culture with skate references, and contrasting patterns in pieces that highlight the imperfections in life. It’s made out of white cotton tablecloths that were stained and tattered with red wine during the show and the range of unisex garments are all handmade in (di)vision’s Copenhagen atelier.

— The capsule collection forces the viewer to think in new ways and find beauty in something that previously was seen as broken or trashed. In that way, the collection celebrates the very core of both our brands — how to live life to its fullest without worries or regrets, Simon Wick, co-founder and creative director (di)vision, comments.

— With the right mindset, a stain can serve as a reminder of a great night instead of an accident, says Petter Swanberg, creative director at Hedvig.
