After three decades in fashion, Linn af Klint Kansmark and Nathalie Bäckström have launched ERA, a second-hand curator now open in PK-huset. Made to feel like a contemporary boutique, the store offers selected pieces based on what’s in style, meaning you can shop seasonal colours, silhouettes and trends all guilt-free. With daily drops, the edit blends contemporary second-hand with carefully chosen vintage, where relevance triumphs age.

Selling is equally streamlined. Through the sleek ERA app, customers register items in advance and avoid queues, bargaining or shipping. ERA handles everything from selection to styling, and sellers are paid out directly through Swish or bank transfer. From 40 to 70 percent commission, depending on the value, ERA makes second-hand just as profitable as it is sustainable.

“We wanted to create a second-hand experience that feels as natural and visually appealing as walking into any design store,” says co-founder Linn af Klint Kansmark. Nathalie Bäckström adds: “There are already enough clothes produced for several generations. Now it’s about circulating what we have — without compromising on style or feeling. Second-hand doesn’t need to be an alternative. It can be the first choice.
