Launched in collaboration with Revolver in 2018, after the latest editions’ forced suspension, Scandinavian Manifesto will once again be part of Pitti Uomo. At Pitti Uomo 101, it returns with a selection of collections by emerging fashion designers and more established names from Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, including the collections of Adnym Atelier, Berner Khul, By Death, Le Deux, Palmes, Vinny’s, and Wood Wood.
In tandem, the collaboration sees the launch of a new participation at the next edition of the Revolver fair. The Italian Team will present collections of a series of Italian contemporary menswear brands, curated by the Pitti Immagine organization, such as Ant 45, Faliero Sarti, G.R.P., Gallia Knit Project, ID.EIGHT, Manikomio DSGN, Noskra, Peppino Peppino Denim, Unimatic, and Zermatt.
— Since its launch, Scandinavian Manifesto has been one of the most appreciated Pitti Uomo areas by buyers and the press. That is why we are thrilled not only to return to present Scandinavian brands at the next Pitti Uomo but also to intensify the synergy with Revolver through a new participation at the Copenhagen show. In a crucial moment for a restart, offering a selection of Italian brands the possibility to introduce themselves at their best on the Scandinavian markets is a positive sign for the entire system. Trade fairs are increasingly standing at the side of companies to support them, in terms of communication and promotion, and offering opportunities to meet new buyers, Antonio Cristaudo, Pitti Immagine commercial & development director, comments.
— We are proud of our partnership with Pitti Uomo, and we have been very happy as it has been benefitting all our exhibiting brands. It is a strength that like-minded minds are working together in this challenging period. It is good for the brands, for the tradeshows, and for the industry. This is a chance we have now to move closer to each other, says Christian Maibom, founder and creative director of Revolver.
