Out of 950-companies, LVMH has shortlisted 21 promising start-ups, in 6 different categories, that tackle major problems existing in the fashion industry. The start-ups will be part of the LVMH Lab at the upcoming VIVA Technology in Paris.

When the luxury conglomerate LVMH presented the start-ups taking part, they also presented a new profile, named Livi. Named after the abbreviation of LVMH Innovation Virtual Insider, she will be the group’s new Face of Innovation, as well as the muse of the recruitment campaign. Livi is modelled in 3D by Altava, an earlier LVMH Innovation Award finalist, and is dressed in creations from the group’s fashion- and jewellery houses.

Livi, the new virtual influencer from LVMH.

— Fusing creativity and innovation is at the core of LVMH’s DNA, and we’re excited to welcome these 21 new startups to our incomparable ecosystem. Livi will play an important role at VivaTech and we’re proud to have her represent the innovative initiatives of the Group and our Maisons, says LVMH Group Managing Director, Toni Belloni.

In a ceremony on the 16th of June, six companies will be awarded within each category, one special prize is awarded to a start-up working with Data and AI and one will win the major prize, the LVMH Innovation Award. The ceremony will be co-hosted by Livi, who will invite experts into her virtual sphere, to discuss the future of luxury.
