Innovative collection to combat signs of ageing
Leading Norwegian brand Elixir Cosmeceuticals introduces the Pro-Age line with four products to counteract the signs of ageing. The first step in the routine is the 2 in 1 Refining Cleansing Milk with retinol-like properties that is gentle and effective enough to remove waterproof mascara. Step two is the new Vitamin C Booster, formulated with only three ingredients. To stabilise and enhance the absorption of the ascorbic acid, propane diol has been added to the formulation. The last two — a cream and an eye cream — are both formulated with NMN, a derivative of vitamin B3, which has been shown to potentially slow down cellular ageing by increasing the coenzyme NAD+.

Straightening out the hair with air
Dyson’s new Airstrait can be used on both wet and dry hair due to the adjustable modes that come with this straightening tool. The heat setting for wet hair ranges from 80C to 140C while for dry hair, there are two temperature settings 120C and 140C. By controlling the heat and airflow, the hair can be dried and styled without causing damage and at the same time reduce flyaways and protect the natural shine.
— Having a strong understanding of how to manipulate and realise the potential of powerful airflow is fundamental to the performance, explains James Dyson, Founder and Chief Engineer.
Due to the acceleration of air through 1,5 mm apertures and with a projection of a 45 ̊ angle, the downward force of air will allow effective and gentle drying and straightening of the hair — again, without the risk of heat damage.

An active all-in-one treatment
Suitable for all skin types, the new collagen-activating treatment from Danish brand Pudderdåserne is formulated with six carefully selected peptides and EGF. This multi-purpose product aims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and at the same time maintain a healthy skin barrier and contribute to a youthful glow.

A tribute to Danish flowers
Designed in Denmark and made in France, the Nordics’ leading beauty retailer Matas’ new in-house brand Flora Danica just launched it first four fragrances. They’re inspired by the encyclopedia Flora Danica, published in 1761, which is a documentation of the diversity of domestic flowers. The perfumes are unisex with heart notes from orris, cardamon, neroli, vetiver, and oakmoss. They are all vegan and designed to be worn individually or layered to enable personalisation — up to 92% of the ingredients come from natural sources.

An ocean-friendly high-protective sunscreen
Innovative Swedish skincare brand Verso launches Daily SPF 50 with ocean-friendly key ingredient Algica made of diatoms, a group of algae grown on the west coast of Sweden. This specific ingredient enhances the effect of the high protective properties against UVA/UVB and HEV light, also known as blue light. The addition of fermented oats adds an extra skin-caring effect to this sunscreen to protect the skin’s microbiome. By using coral reef-friendly chemical UV filters, the product will not leave any white cast when applied to the skin. It is also vegan and water-resistant for up to 40 minutes.

Anti-ageing serum empowered by Nordic berries
The lightweight formula in Lumene’s brand-new Bloom [LUMO] Berry Pre-Retinol Facial Oil is infused with hand-picked Nordic berries and 98% of the ingredients are of upcycled origin. The active plant-based complex is derived from cloudberries and sea buckthorn, both rich in beta‐carotene, and have retinol-like properties to reduce signs of aging and improve skin complexion. Seeds from Nordic lingonberries are rich in essential omega-3 fatty acids, plant sterols and antioxidants. They are also known to moisturise and reduce uneven skin tone.

Reaching deeper with small peptides
Neostrata’s latest addition to the Skin Active series, Rebound Sculpting Cream, is formulated with the new so-called MicroDiPeptide229 technology. By using 2.5x smaller cosmetic peptide molecules, the active ingredients can reach the matrix of the skin to reduce signs of ageing. AHA and PHA add cell-renewing properties that contribute to a more visibly even skin tone and at the same time protect the natural moisture barrier. Aminofil, patented by Neostrata, is an amino acid derivate which gives an extra plumping effect. The addition of Amphoteric Technology contributes to a calming effect to prevent skin irritation.

One cream — five anti-ageing benefits
Peter Thomas Roth launches a five-in-one product, the Ultimate Solution 5 Multitasking Moisturiser. This cream is formulated with the Firma-CELL-5c peptide complex to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Other skin rejuvenating properties come from a combination of Vitamin C, organic acids, hyaluronic acid, and collagen. The calming and balancing benefits come from the addition of white and green tea extracts as well as Centella Asiatica and echinacea.

A barrier-friendly cleanser
This gel-to-milk cleanser from Icelandic innovation-based brand Bioeffect is formulated with skin barrier-friendly squalane and barley seed extracts. It removes sunscreen, makeup, and impurities without disrupting the natural moisture, oils, and optimal pH in the skin. Besides the protection and emollient effect of squalane, it has an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefit which the skin can profit from due to its biocompatible composition. The extract from barley seeds primarily consists of beta glucan which adds additional calming and rejuvenating properties to the product.

Peptide cocktail
Filorga’s just-launched Time-Filler Shot 5XP is a targeted treatment with a high concentration of skin-relaxing neuropeptides. The active complex in the serum is formulated with hexapeptide and octapeptide, both inspired by botulinum toxin used for injections. A cooling applicator specially designed for a precise application helps to target areas such as crow’s feet, lines on the upper lip, and lines on the forehead. The serum is also formulated with marine ferment to support the skin complexion.

A balm for intimate care

At the same time, it is gentle enough to moisturise and care for intimate areas. The product is fragrance-free and formulated with jojoba oil, beeswax, watermelon seed oil, shea butter, and — the signature ingredient — açai berry. Thanks to the rich texture, when the balm is warmed up, it melts between the hands and can be used as a massage oil as well as a lubricant.
