”Beauty Innovation will help decision-makers tackle the industry transformation”
On the launch of our new editorial arm and insights newsletter
14 Jun 2023

During the last decade, while reporting on the beauty industry for Scandinavian MIND and other publications, we’ve gotten a first-row view of the sector’s massive growth and subsequent challenges.

According to Precedence Research, the global cosmetics market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (cagr) of 5.1 % from 2021 to 2030, reaching $560.50 billion

Just like fashion, design, and mobility — three other industries we cover closely — beauty is facing real challenges: regulation, marketing myths, misleading claims, sustainability issues such as greenwashing, over-use of materials, and over-production.

But unlike many other industries, the beauty industry has innovation at its very core, constantly developing new ingredients, formulations, and packaging materials. This gives us hope that the industry can face its challenges head-on, but it also reaffirms that it requires action and dedication in order to navigate the transformation.

That is why we have created Beauty Innovation, our new insights newsletter and event concept, which will help C-level executives, brand owners, and other decision-makers in the beauty industry with actionable insights, relevant data, and in-depth knowledge on how to tackle the industry transformation.

Every year, we receive information about every beauty product launch in the Nordic region. We study new technologies and innovations, visit factories, and speak to countless industry insiders about what’s around the corner.

This ground reporting accumulates a unique insight into the industry, its macro trends, and micro phenomena, which is exactly what we want to report on in Beauty Innovation.

During the last few years, we’ve seen the rise of  ”clean beauty”, a growing interest in biotech, and Nordic beauty packaging innovations gaining global attention. We’ve experienced how a sudden crisis in the form of a global pandemic forced brands and an entire industry to develop digital solutions to cater to their end consumers. We can now follow how many of these solutions are a driving force in transforming consumer behaviours and the beauty retail sector as a whole.

Starting next Wednesday, we will send out our Beauty Innovation insights newsletter every week. Content will range from trend reports, consumer insights, market data, global news updates, as well as commentary and analysis from industry experts and ourselves.

Our community will also get invites to exclusive events, featuring world-class knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities, which we will be hosting around Scandinavia.

Early access subscribers will get the newsletter for free throughout the summer. This allows us to fasten the nuts and bolts of the concept, provide tweaks and updates, and most importantly: receive much-needed feedback from you – our dear reader.

If you are not already subscribed, sign up for early access to Beauty Innovation here:

We look forward to having you on this journey to cover the transformation of the beauty industry!
