With a great interest in design and architecture, real estate agency founders Martin Sjöman and Erik Frisk wanted their new office to feel like a creative architectural firm rather than a regular office.

— We had admired Fredrik Karlsson’s work for a long time, so the minute we signed the contract for the office, we saw the opportunity to work with him. We were involved in the planning but the design was entirely Fredrik’s. He also designed two wooden tables made by a Swedish carpentry and the dining table in travertine was made by Belgic il Granito, says Frisk.

A previous owner had used the office as an art gallery. The duo wanted Karlsson to recreate a similar feel to their new space, so he’s also chosen the curated art. Currently, it features objects by Mimmi Blomqvist and others, which will be changed over time. The venue, Frisk summarizes, reflects his and Sjöman’s own design philosophy.

— Minimalist and stylish, like the Scandinavian homes we sell.
