CIFF’s International Program furthers the discourse around Scandinavia’s growing global role within the fashion and apparel industry, showcasing the best of domestic and regional creativity and brands and opening channels for cooperation and exchange.
First conceived in 2018 as an international designer exchange creating an immersive Scandinavian experience in the heart of Florence, the concept Scandinavian Manifesto is back at Pitti Uomo on June 11th-14th. Once again, it curates the most innovative Nordic contemporary brands at Fortezza de Basso — this season with the best in regional menswear talent bringing together ARKK, J.Lindeberg, Aveny, Woodbird, Messy Weekend, Rue de Tokyo, Isnurh, and Henrik Vibskov.
CIFF’s Milan Fashion Week debut with the support of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana is a showcase of regional designer names and presents Henrik Vibskov SS25 Presentation within Milan Fashion Week’s official menswear calendar. Alongside Henrik Vibskov the showcase presents Mark Kenly Domino Tan, Henrik Vibskov, CDLP, Adnym, Isnurh, Envelope1976, and Aiayu bringing together a who’s who of the best in Danish creativity and talent in the city for the first time.
As CIFF looks to the wider world and builds bridges between Copenhagen and key international markets, CEO Sofie Dolva explains that the focus is on meeting industry where trade happens.
— Italy is one of the world’s great fashion marketplaces, and CIFF is proud to showcase the growing creativity, strength, and impact of Scandinavian fashion within the market’s fashion legacy, she says. As we work to build bridges between Copenhagen and hubs around the globe, we look forward to meeting and sharing with local industry and friends, old and new, and finding new ways of working together for the benefit of the wider industry ecosystem we are all a part of.
Another goal, Dolva points out, is to bring industry and trade together at home alongside Copenhagen Fashion Week. Next out at the 63rd edition of CIFF taking place August-7-9.
