Grandiose buildings rich in history and more intimate apartments set the tone for the Danish design community to start afresh welcoming international visitors in a physical embrace.
Looking at the diversity of furniture, lighting and design objects presented, shining through from designers and brands alike, is the approach to the overall experience with a touch of playfulness.
Space Invaders by Luca Nichetto for Stellar Works
Celebrating the first collaboration between Stellar Works and multi-talented Venetian designer Luca Nichetto, Space Invaders is a collection of vibrant functional objects that merge the craftsmanship of traditional glassmakers with sculptural woods and minimalist metal frames. The result is a series of playful design objects that can “invade” a variety of environments.
— Space Invaders is a perfect example of our mission at Nichetto Studio to show the beauty in function, says Luca Nichetto.

After 3 days of design, all of the pieces are going to be part of the therapeutic practice that will live in the premises. The clinic for Grief & Death will be able to encourage the use of physical senses and engage with the surrounding designs.
GamFratesi’s Violin Chair for Gubi
— Our way of living has changed the user’s behaviour, says GamFretsi whose practice is known for their view on design not driven by trends but as a way of living that can alter behaviour.
To renew the long-lasting collaboration between Danish brand Gubi and the Italian-Danish duo GamFratesi, the new Violin chair is the “product of a prospective” where the chair’s metal structure and the interaction with its armrest give life to an organic shape translated into a poetic balance between design and functionality.
Embrace Series by EOOS for Carl Hansen & Søn
Starting from mutual respect for pure materials and craftsmanship, Carl Hansen & Søn embarked on a collaboration with Austrian studio EOOS known for its poetic approach to the design process. The Embrace series including sofa, chair and newly launched bar stool has been thought as if each individual design element could stand on its own, part of the brilliant process behind its contemporary aesthetic.
