This morning staple Danish furniture manufacturer Fritz Hansen unveiled a new lounge chair named Let Lounge Chair, designed by Sebastian Herkner. The new chair is the first collaboration with Fritz Hansen for the German designer, whos skills and signature aesthetic clearly shows.

— I like the character of the armrest which is spreading its wings in an inviting gesture. The general idea is about lightness and comfort. The chair becomes an oasis to relax. Light and precise, comfy and communicative, Herkner explains in a statement.

The chair comes fully draped in textile or leather, with powder-coated steel and classic chrome as colour options, and the legs come in wooden oak, natural ash and black coloured ash to match. The chair is also made without glue, thus making steam cleaning possible.
