Slush is a 2-day event taking place in Helsinki with speakers and innovators from all around the world participating in fireside chats and panel discussions. Their mission is to open up the stage and invite all entrepreneurs and enthusiasts to talk about topics such as the Future of a Circular Economy, the importance of Web3 — and why it’s here to stay.

Nordic Leadership: Learnings from Spotify, Supercell and Kry

Running a tech company and how specifically Nordic companies are run, is on the agenda to be discussed by CEO and co-founder of gaming development company Supercell, Ilkka Paananen, founder and CEO of new generation skincare brand Mantle, Josefine Landgard and general partner at venture capital firm Cherry Ventures, Sophia Bendz. The panel discussion will be hosted by Slush’ Benjamin Begley.

Circular Economy and Changing Consumer Behavior

A panel discussion on circular economy and changing consumer behavior held by CEO of luxury second-hand platform Vestiaire Collective, Maximilian Bittner, CEO and co-founder of refurbished electronics company Back Market, Thibaud Hug de Larauze. The two will open up the discussion on how to move from a linear to a circular economy and the importance of making structural changes in production and consumption. Generation Investment Management’s Partner, Joy Tuffield, will join the discussion.

Shaping the Future: Why Web3 and NFTs Matter

A fireside chat between Web3 investor Ariana Simpson and CEO of Everyrealm, a company that invests in metaverse platforms and virtual worlds through NFTs, Janine Yorio. As the conversation on whether NFTs is just a faze or here to stay, the two will discuss and give us insight on what the future of Web3 looks like.

Redesigning a Category: Einride’s take on Transportation

Redesigning transportation can be a long and challenging task. Linnéa Kornehed Falck, CMO, Deputy CEO and founder of Swedish transportation company Einride, will be discussing this with Tove Larsson, general partner at non-profit organization Norrsken. Einride is known for their self-driven vehicles and will also be talking about what steps are important in order to break the norm and redesign a category that can be hard to break through.
