Entrepreneur and author Oscar Arrsjö has a rich background in fashion. In 2005 he started MAN, Sweden’s first style magazine for men and three years later ha launched FRONTMEN, the first online store to combine editorial content with e-commerce.
These days he runs ASCARO, the newly launched premium padel centre on the roof of iconic department store Nordiska Kompaniet.

My favourite thing that makes me proud of Stockholm:
The water, the old buildings, and the beautiful locals.
My favourite weekend routine:
Playing padel with mates at NK Padel & Social by ASCARO followed by my family joining for lunch and laughs. After that, we head out to my parents in Nacka for an early dinner in their conservatory where I enjoy watching my two and four-year-old city slicker kids Bobbo and Signe getting scared of ants, flies and other dangerous wild animals.
My favourite cultural spot:
All the small galleries that keep popping up across Stockholm.
My favourite place for dining out:
Nabo in Tegnérlunden, close to where I live, has a very well composed menu accompanied by an excellent wine list and friendly staff.

My favourite place for a creative or business meeting:
Cecil att Norrlandsgatan 10, which I call my office. It caters for all my needs.
My favourite breakfast place:
Letting my dear Sanna sleep in while I bring the kids to Stinas Bageri to pick up fresh bread and croissants. If I’m in a good mood we’ll swing by my friend Vigor Sörman on the way home, who lives nearby.
My favourite city escape:
Sandhamn, or pretty much anywhere in the Archipelago. For a longer getaway, Torekov is always pleasant.

My favourite local entrepreneur or creative I want to promote:
Marc Nylander at NK Sport and other ventures. A true visionary with a heart of gold. Completely fearless and always chilled even when it storms. I almost like him so much so I’d consider letting him win a padel game.
My favourite hotel for a staycation:
Bank Hotel. The only problem is to find my way back to the room after a visit to the cocktail bar Papillon.

My favourite route for a run or walk:
Hagaparken is a unique blend of nature and culture.
My favourite place for fashion:
With the recent updates in the brand range, NK has an assortment that invites both inspiration and shopping.
My favourite space for great design:
Classics are mixed with the latest at iconic Nordiska Galleriet. Small and large. Expensive and inexpensive.

My favourite example of tech innovation in Stockholm:
When we made a 3D animation of the iconic NK watch that morphs into the ASCARO logo which we displayed pretty much on all giant outdoor screens in Stockholm, with help from my friends at Ocean Outdoor.
My favourite local media:
Hemnet. The dream of a house stays real.
My favourite thing at home:
My new cordless Dyson vacuum cleaner. I have never been more eager to clean the apartment.
